Dr. Stephen Tanner
Dr. Gary Reichhold
Dr. Stephen Tanner and Dr. Gary Reichhold have been proudly serving Contra Costa County since 1991.
They both received their bachelor’s degrees from the University of California in Berkeley.
Dr. Tanner attended the UCLA School of Dentistry and Dr. Reichhold attended the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco where they each received their DDS degrees in 1987. Both doctors graduated with honors and were elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Tanner and Dr. Reichhold trained together in the Department of Orthodontics at the University of California, San Francisco where they graduated in 1989.
Drs. Tanner and Reichhold are committed to meeting and exceeding the standards of their profession. They are active members of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, Contra Costa Dental Society, the World Federation of Orthodontists and the Invisalign Peer-to-Peer Study Club of the greater Bay Area. In addition, Dr. Reichhold is a member of the Orthodontic Peer Review Committee of the Contra Costa Dental Society. Both doctors are active in several local dental study clubs and have been invited on numerous occasions to speak about orthodontics to dental groups in Contra Costa County.
Away from the office, Dr. Tanner enjoys photography, fishing, skiing, traveling and playing the piano. He currently lives in Walnut Creek with his wife, Jane and three daughters, Justine, Alexandra and Olivia.
Dr. Reichhold enjoys traveling, gardening, fishing, snow skiing and “Giants” baseball in his spare time. He currently lives in Alamo with his wife, Catherine, and their four children, Andrew (currently attending the University of Oregon), Jennifer (currently attending the University of Utah), Christina and Amy.
